Connect with trusted friends

Create circles of your friends and contact them for tips and recommendations with just one single message. Just ask them.

Create a Circle

  • Open "Menu"
  • Tap "Circles"
  • Open "Submenu"
    • Tap "Add Circle"
    • Choose topic of circle
    • Give Circle a specific Name
    • Tap "Create"

Add Contacts to Circle

  • Open "Menu"
  • Tap "Circles"
  • Tap on desired Circle to open it
  • Open "Submenu"
    • Tap "Add Contact"
    • All contacts with an email address can be searched for. TheSmarterPlace contacts as well as all contacts on the device. Tap on a found contact to add it immediately to the circle.
    • or create a new contact, email address is mandatory. Friends that are SmarterUsers, get their messages in their SmarterFeed, friends that are not yet on TheSmarterPlace get an email message.
    • Tap "Save"

Invite a Friend

  • Open "Menu"
  • Tap "SmarterFeed"
  • Open "Submenu"
    • Invite a friend
    • Invite your friends to join you on TheSmarterPlace ! Until they join you, your friends will get your SmarterMessages as emails.
    • Choose your preferred messenger and simply send the generated message. Depending on the services you use, this can incur costs.

Send a Request

  • Open "Menu"
  • Tap "SmarterFeed"
  • Tap icon on the bottom right side to create message
    • Select Circle to share with
    • Optionally choose attachment
    • Optionally record voice message
    • Optionally write text message
    • Tap icon to send

Find the best products

Take and send pictures of products you want to buy and get trusted recommendations and ratings from your friends.

Ask for recommendations

  • Open "Menu"
  • Tap "SmarterFeed"
  • Tap icon on the bottom right side to create message
    • Select Circle to share with
    • Take picture of product
    • Optionally record voice message
    • Optionally write text message
    • Tap icon to send

Give recommendations and ratings

  • Tap on "Reply..." at the bottom of a request
    • Tap on star to give a rating
    • Optionally tap on paperclip to add attachment
    • Optionally record voice message
    • Write your recommendation
    • Tap icon to send

Scan and store all your home information - sorted by house, room and asset - on the cloud to have it readily accessible anywhere and anytime.

Create new Home

  • Open "Menu"
  • Tap "SmarterHome"
  • Open "Submenu"
    • Tap "Add Place"
    • Fill in information
    • Tap icon to create

  • Place details entered of your home
    • Tap on icon to edit information. Add or change the image via the "images" card.
  • The rooms created in your home
    • Create the rooms you have in your home, so that you can put your assets with their attachments directly in the right place. Like this, you always know exactly where to look for the information you need. Nevertheless you may be creative ! If it fits your needs, you can, for example, create a room called pharmacy and store every medicine as an asset with contacts, documents and images. Or create an exercise room and add all your sports equipment as assets.

    • Summary of all the To-Dos inside this home !
  • Contacts attached to this home in general
    • Store here the contacts, that apply to your home as a whole, like your landlord, your mortgage counselor, the agent of your contents insurance etc.
  • Documents attached to this home in general
    • Store here the documents that belong to your home as a whole, like copies of insurances, mortgage papers etc.
  • Pictures of this home in general
    • Store or take here directly pictures belonging to your home as a whole.

  • Your contact information
    • Only your avatar image and your name will be visible for the contacts in your circles.
  • Your Preferences
    • Add a favourite picture that keeps you company on the web app. Choose your language setting for the whole app.
  • Your Users
    • Involve the people you share a home with, add them as guests (read only), users (add/edit own data) or managers (edit/remove any data).
  • Your current storage usage
    • 100 MB Storage free to use !
